Riding the Waves of Change... Strategies for Success

Australia's Leading Childcare Conference
Friday 30 May - Sunday 1 June 2008
Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Resort - Gold Coast

The 2008 Conference themed “Riding the Waves of Change…Strategies for Success” will be held from 30 May – 1 June 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast.  With an impressive line-up of keynote speakers and workshop presenters, and a topical, information-packed program, the Childcare Queensland conference promises to be the premier childcare conference for 2008 with 300 delegates from all over Australia expected to attend.  A charity golf day will also be included for your enjoyment.

The Keynote Speaker on Day One will be Robyn Moore.  Robyn is a multi-skilled Communicator who has been in the business of creating and changing peoples’ perception through “the power of the word” for almost 30 years. She’s Australia’s most versatile and effective female Voice-Over Artist, Presenter and Speaker.  Her voice is known in most homes in Australia from commercials, syndicated comedy and animation series seen in 70 countries, however few people will know her name. She created all female voices on Australia’s longest running radio comedy series “How Green Was My Cactus” and her voice on radio and TV commercials has sold millions of dollars worth of products for thousands of Australian companies. She is also well known as the voice of Blinky Bill – “Extraordinary”!  When she speaks ... people listen … and take the action necessary to create the outcomes they want in their lives!

Following Robyn’s Keynote Presentation, she will continue as the MC for Day One and will host the Conference Gala Dinner sponsored by Australian Child Care Super Fund, on Saturday evening.  This will be a wonderfully themed event and provide an opportunity to catch-up with industry colleagues, enjoy fine food and wine, music and entertainment.

Sunday’s Keynote Speaker will be Terry Hawkins.  Having trained over 80,000 people in the business sector, Terry knows what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to learning. Her fascination with the unconscious mind has lead her to studying incessantly about peak performance and the blockages that stop people from succeeding.  Rather than bamboozle her audience with jargon she will deliver high impact, practical strategies that produce results and her renowned sense of humour will ensure everyone has a good time.

Delegates from all over Australia will travel to share in the professional development and industry networking on offer.  Join us at the Crowne Plaza Royal Pines for this outstanding event.
